Interested in becoming a volunteer for the RSPCA South Cotswolds? From home-visiting and practical animal care to computer work, there are many different ways you can help improve animal welfare in your local area.
All volunteer roles - even those not directly involving animals have a significant impact on animal welfare - support the vital work we do. Have a look at our volunteer's story.
Due to the wide range of activities we are involved in, we need people with a wide range of skills to carry out the following activities:
We're currently looking for volunteers to work in our Stroud, Nailsworth, Cirencester Tetbury and Wotton-Under-Edge shops.
This is both fun and rewarding. Hours are available to suit you and you do not even have to commit to a regular slot. Tasks include sorting new donations, pricing goods, operating the cash till and merchandising the store. There really is a job for
everyone! We have a wonderful team of volunteers at all four of the shops so if you'd like to be a part of it, please call June on 01453 755 857 or via volunteer@rspcastroud.org.uk. Alternatively, just pop in to the shop and ask at the counter.
We are always looking for foster homes for cats, dogs and other small animals. See our special feature under the success stories page to read a recent case study from one of
our regular foster carers. Help, support and guidance are always on hand for our new carers and we also ensure that all expenses are paid so that you are never out of pocket. This really is a rewarding way of helping out the charity. If you think you'd
like to find out more, please contact June on 01453 755 857 or via volunteer@rspcastroud.org.uk.
